Ride around the block is an Adventure charity ride which aims to help raise much needed funds for the Cancer Council in every state right around Australia.

The ride will cover over 16,000km, stretching from the breathtaking Great Ocean Road to Uluru, from the Kakadu to the Sunshine Coast…all within the short time frame of 6 weeks

We are departing from Energy Australia Stadium Newcastle May 9th 2010 right before the Knights Vs Titans NRL game.



The riders consist of 6 average guys who have all been affected indirectly by cancer. They share a passion for adventure riding and motorcycling in general. Combine this with a strong determination to help fight cancer and a love of this beautiful country and you have the trip of a lifetime.

Every dollar counts and goes towards helping those estimated 110,000 people diagnosed with this terrible disease every year. The money raised will assist the Cancer Council to fund vital research into cancer, provide services to health professionals and support people living with cancer through programs such as the Cancer Helpline, Cancer Connect and more.

Any donation to the cancer council over $2 will be issued a tax receipt.



Companies can also sponsor a leg of the trip by donating five dollars for every kilometre of the trip travelled. Each leg of the trip will then be attributed to that company in both the Press and on the dynamic map shown here on the website, tracking our position as we move through the journey.
